“when I was hungry you fed me. I was thirsty and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger and you invited me in to your home. I was naked and you clothed me. I was sick and you cared for me. I was in prison and you visited me.”

Jesus

For all you fellow servants, missionaries and parents – here is the latest scoop on how to be prepared and what you will need to head down south this year:

  1. Shots – since 5 docs gave 5 different opinions we are leaving it up to each family and their own physician to determine what’s best for each missionary. (hepatitis, tetanus, etc.)
  2. Identification – atleast one, (preferably 2) picture id’s; AND A GOOD COPY OF YOUR BIRTH CERTIFICATE;
  3. Bring…sleeping bag, pillow, etc…..large box of pepto bismal tablets, handi-wipes…..2 pairs of shoes, lite-weight long pants, T-shirts, a hat(s)…
  4. Please don’t bring…any electronic devices such as headphones, gameboys, etc…or any music that might be remotely construed by even the most conservative, down-right unreasonable person [aka youth pastor] as inappropriate, distracting or dishonoring to God or creation ☺
  5. Dress code: shorts (to the knees) will be allowed on travel days only – none in Mexico. No bathing suits, tube-tops, tank-tops, etc. Remember we will be in a different culture and we are not to do anything that might encourage others to take their eyes off what is holy (Romans 14:21).
  6. Other: PACK LITE – REMAIN FLEXIBLE - PRAY HARD – KEEP ASKING “HOW CAN I HELP” – HAVE FUN ☺ ☺ ☺

Cost per person = $ 200.00 [we hope to have some scholarship $$ to help offset costs for 2-3 youth]
Note: the cost of building the home is $3200.00, above and beyond the $200.00 per person

God has already been up to good on making this trip a special one and there is good fruit in store for the humble and willing. Seek Christ in all things and hold on for an exciting adventure into another world – the Kingdom of God ☺

There will be limited spaces on this trip so please sign up as soon as you can commit.
